Restaurant L’Avenue is a gastronomic place on New Boulevard, near the State Flag Square. The restaurant was opened in 2018. It resembles a beautiful garden which is buried in greenery, coolness and sunlight. Chef Arthur Martsen has created a gastronomic menu, which is designed to please the experienced gourmets and devoted fans of French cuisine. Fresh oysters and shrimps straight from Europe, traditional desserts, rechanged by a confectioner’s team, unique cocktails and, of course, wine – the list of things you will enjoy in this restaurant. Sommelier Romans Daleckis was inspired by Nice and Paris – and developed a wine card. On weekends, musicians and DJs perform in L’Avenue. The restaurant is ready to welcome up to 260 guests at a time and opened everyday from 12:00 to 00:00.

Baku metro, which was put into operation on November 6, 1967 is the public urban transport system linking underground railway lines in Azerbaijan. The current metro lines of 36,63 km length, consist of 25 stations on 3 lines, an electrical depot and technological corps (building) where the administrative apparatus is located as well.

BAKU JAZZ FESTIVAL
Music The Baku International Jazz Festival is an annual jazz event organized by saxophonist and Baku resident Rain Sultanov. The festival aims to showcase Azerbaijan’s long-running attachment to jazz, a connection established in the country during the 1950s and 1960s. The festival has welcomed musicians from Georgia, Portugal, Italy, Israel, United States, Germany, Canada, and Russia.
Azerbaijan Fashion Week
Azerbaijan Fashion Week take place each year in May and October. Within the 6 seasons period there were around 80 fashion shows of famous designers from France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia etc. The primary purpose of AFW is popularization of growing fashion industry in Azerbaijan and creating the opportunities for talented designers for demonstrating their works. The event has been attended by world fashion experts, as well as the buyers of retail chains and representatives of local and international publications.
2019 UEFA Europa League Final
The 2019 UEFA Europa League Final will be the final match of the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League, the 48th season of Europe’s secondary club football tournament organized by UEFA, and the 10th season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League. It will be played at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan on 29 May 2019.
